Why Veliki Preslav Municipality collect and store personal data?

In order to provide you with an administrative service, we need to collect your personal data. We ensure that the information we collect and use is necessary for this purpose and is not for the purpose of invading your personal space.

Will you forward and share my personal data with other organizations or individuals?

We will not sell your data to third parties, nor will we pass it on for the purpose of obtaining any benefit.

All third parties who may receive your data are required to keep your data secure and use it only to fulfill their obligations to us. When they no longer need your data to fulfill these obligations, they will have detailed instructions for their destruction in accordance with the procedures established by the Municipality of Veliki Preslav.

The municipality will process (collect, store and use) the information provided by you in a manner compatible with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavor to keep the information accurate and up to date.

We will not store your information longer than is reasonably necessary to fulfill the specific purposes for which it was collected and for which you are notified here.

Some of the information storage periods depend on legal obligations to keep documents and information within certain periods.

We will take all foreseeable technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of your data from unauthorized access.

Can I find out what personal data of mine you have and process?

The Municipality of Veliki Preslav, upon your request, is obliged to tell you what information we store about you and how it is processed.

In case we have your personal data, you can request the following information:

• Contact details of the organization processing or on behalf of which your data is processed. (In some cases this may be a representative in the EU).
• Contact details of the Data Protection Officer.
• Purposes of processing;
• The legal basis for the processing;
• The relevant categories of personal data being processed;
• The recipients or categories of recipients to whom they are or will be disclosed;
• Recipients in third countries or international organizations if there is a transfer of personal data to them, as well as the guarantees that the security of their data will be at least at the EU level;
• If the processing is based on the legitimate interests of the Municipality of Veliki Preslav or a third party, information about these interests.
• The intended period for which the personal data will be stored;
• Details of your rights to request rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data, and to object to such processing;
• Information about your right to withdraw your consent at any time;
• Details of your right to appeal to a supervisory authority;
• Information whether the provision of personal data is mandatory or a contractual requirement or a requirement necessary for the conclusion of a contract, and whether and whether you are obliged to provide the personal data and the possible consequences of not being able to provide such data.

• All details and information about the presence of automated decision-making, such as profiling and any meaningful information about the relevant logic of these operations, as well as the meaning and expected consequences of this processing.

How can I access my data that has been processed?

It is necessary to complete an access request, which can be found in our Information and Services Center or on our website (link to Sample Data Subject Request Form (GDPR_FORM_02)) or make a request to the indicated contact details of the Municipality of Veliki Preslav, or directly to the indicated contact details of the Data Protection Officer.
